Pondless Components

The origination point of your waterfall. This is used to disperse the water evenly coming out of the pipe.

Rocks and gravel are used to cover up and protect the liner from ultra violet rays. They also make the pondless waterfall look more natural

This is how you access the pump. It is located in the reservoir and is normally disguised under rocks and gravel. It is also a great place to place a clean out pump during cleaning since it is the lowest point in the feature.

This is located in your vault and is the motor that moves the water from the bottom of the feature to the top.

These are structurally strong crates that are used as voided space to allow for more water storage in your reservoir.

The underlayment is a fabric that protects the liner from anything that could puncture it. The liner is a rubber membrane that keeps the water inside of the water feature.

Pump

  • Pumps water from the reservoir to the top of your waterfall
  • 3-year warranty
  • Different sizes avilable pumping from 3,000 GPH up to 8,000 GPH+

Check Valve

  • Connects the waterfall pump to the hose leading to the top of the waterfall.
  • Has a coller you can unscrew and remove the pump if needed.
  • Saves the water in the plumbing when pump shuts off.
  • May not be necessary in some pondless waterfalls and fountainscapes

Flexible PVC Pipe

  • Plumbing helps transport water from reservoir to top of waterfall
  • Flexible to make twists and turns
  • Very durable
  • Normally 2″ in diameter but can be larger

Spillway

  • Extremely versatile
  • Diffuses water coming from PVC flex pipe
  • Makes the waterfall look more natural
  • Other methods can be used to diffuse water

Pondless Maintenance

A pondless waterfall is less maintenance then a koi pond but does require some general upkeep to keep it looking and functioning its best. While some prefer to take care of their pondless waterfall themselves, others sign up for some sort of regular mainteance. Either option is fine, just know that we are here to help you in any way we can! Does a pondless waterfall require maintenance?

Yes, while a pondless waterfall is much easier to take care of then a pond some general maintenance is required. Debris such as leaves and sticks must be removed occasionally from the stream. Algae may grow on the rocks and need to be scrubbed off from time to time. If you are located in or around Charlotte, NC we can help take care of your water feature!

How much does a pondless waterfall cost?

Can I keep a small pool in my reservoir?

Although it may be possible to have a small pool at the bottom of your waterfall in your reservoir it is not recommended. The small pool at the bottom can cause excess algae growth.

Do I need to turn off my waterfall in the winter?

No, here in Charlotte, NC we recommend keeping your water feature on all year round.

How often do I need to get a clean out?

Every pondless waterfall is different and some may not need to have a clean out as much as others. In generally we recommend having a clean out once a year in order to have it looking and functioning it's best.
