As the end of 2023 approached, the construction team from Pondscapes of Charlotte embarked on an inspiring journey to Hendersonville, NC. Their destination: Black Koi Water Features, a renowned haven for captivating pond and waterfall designs. Led by the visionary owner, Joe Zawistowski, the team sought an infusion of creativity and innovation for their upcoming projects in the new year.
During our visit, Joe Zawistowski graciously guided us through an immersive tour of four distinct water features, each a testament to his expertise and passion. Our inaugural stop unfolded at Joe’s own residence, an oasis showcasing his current pond masterpiece adorned with strategically placed stepping stones that elegantly spanned its expanse. As we traversed the stones, Joe shared insights into the design intricacies, allowing us to experience firsthand the seamless integration of nature and artistry. Amidst this serene setting, Joe unveiled plans for a new water feature project he is planning at his home that will be cutting edge in the pond industry including a cold plunge, cave, and recreational swim pond. This awe-inspiring water feature, a testament to opulence and artistry, boasted cascading waterfalls that melodiously merged into a tranquil pond. Its allure was amplified by the natural flagstone pathways strategically placed, inviting one to wander and marvel at the water garden’s serene beauty. What made this oasis even more remarkable was the fervor of its owners, avid pond enthusiasts deeply inspired by Greg Wittstock, The Pond Guy’s YouTube channel.

The trip to Black Koi Water Features in Hendersonville, NC, was a resounding success for Pondscapes of Charlotte.
