The Vision
This client lives on a beautiful peninsula on Lake Norman and had an existing water feature in the front yard that he wanted to relocate to the backyard while improving the overall design, functionality, and appearance.

The Transformation
Braeden Branch and the Pondscapes team rebuilt the pond in its new location, upgrading the filtration system and creating a much more natural-looking design. Braeden incorporated a large fish cave into the pond to give the fish a protected place to hide from birds of prey, along with a split-stream waterfall that adds more movement and interest to the feature. At the customer’s request, the team also worked a large round boulder into the center of the stream and added a beautiful natural piece of cedar along the edge to break up the rockwork and give the finished pond a more organic, natural feel.
