The Vision
This Quarterly VIP client loved his koi but could rarely enjoy them because the pond had been built without proper filtration. With only a pump on the bottom, the water remained green, so Kael designed a solution that would dramatically improve water quality while adding a beautiful natural waterfall.
The Transformation
When this Quarterly VIP client came to us, they had a beautiful collection of koi—but they could barely enjoy them. The pond had been built by another contractor with no real biological filtration, relying only on a pump sitting on the bottom of the pond. The result was persistent green water that hid the fish and limited the pond’s overall health.
Kael recommended a complete filtration upgrade that would not only improve water quality but also enhance the beauty of the pond. He installed an Aquascape Signature Series Skimmer, an Aquascape BioFalls® filter, and a circulation jet to eliminate stagnant areas and increase oxygen throughout the pond. The new BioFalls also allowed us to create a beautiful natural waterfall, adding both the sights and sounds of moving water while dramatically improving biological filtration.
The transformation gave this Quarterly VIP client exactly what they were hoping for—a healthier ecosystem, crystal-clear water, and the ability to finally enjoy watching their stunning koi every day.
