Pondscapes of Charlotte is excited to announce the installation of a new rainwater harvesting ecosystem pond at Village Hall Park in the Village of Marvin.

How it Works
An underground 5,000-gallon rainwater harvesting basin will be built using Aquascape AquaBlox® water matrix blocks, creating a large storage area beneath the pond and surrounding landscape.
As rain falls on the pond, stream, waterfall, and surrounding area, the water is naturally collected and stored in the underground basin. A pump located at the bottom of the system continuously recirculates the harvested rainwater back to the top of the waterfall, allowing the entire ecosystem to operate naturally and sustainably.
The top of the AquaBlox® basin will be completely hidden using aquatic plants and a variety of natural stone sizes, blending the system seamlessly into the landscape.
This design helps reduce runoff while putting rainwater to positive use in a way that supports nature and the environment.
